Druidry Season 1, Episode 1 Answers

Episode 1 of Druidry Season 1 was a mixed bag! Only 3 people attempted the quiz but 3 is good enough for starters!

I hope the future Episodes will see more participation. Anyway, here are the answers followed by the scores at the end:

1. The French Revolution (Only KJS got this)

2. The picture shown is the first logo of Arsenal Football Club back in 1888. The three canons form part of the coat of arms of the Woolwich Borough Council. (Points to Docspike and KJS)

3. Simple enough... Yellow Pages (KJS and Assassin got this)

4. I had asked the name of the movie. It is Forrest Gump of course! (What do I do with you Assassin?)

5. I was looking for 'Tepuis'. The movie was Up. (All three got the mountain. 2 got the movie.)

6. Thanks Assassin for cracking this. The guy is Palle Huld, died late last year. Most people believe that this guy was the inspiration for Herge to create Tintin! (The first comic I read as a kid!)

7. The photograph is of the Jasta 11 Division of the German Air Force, the famed Flying Circus led by Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron. This photo is featured on the cover of Led Zeppelin II, released in 1969. (Am tempted to give Assassin 1/2 a point for getting Jasta 11. Well done mate!)

8. What you see in the picture is a sand trap made by the larva of the Antlion! (I used to feed ants to it just to see it at work!)

9. The animal is the Aardvark! It is the first animal to be named in the English Dictionary! (No points for first word!)

10. The connect is the song 'Institutionalized' by Suicidal Tendencies.

First pic is Iron Man. The song plays in the background when Robert Downey Jr. is working on a car engine before boarding the flight to Af.

Picture 2 is of Mike Muir, the vocalist of Suicidal Tendencies.

The 3rd pic is of Harry Dean Stanton who plays Bud in the 1984 cult movie Repo Man. Institutionalized is part of the soundtrack of Repo Man.

This song also appears in The Brady Bunch Movie.
